Колективи нацпарків, заповідників та природоохоронних організацій інших європейських країн згуртувалися для підтримки українців.
“Парки та заповідники надають допомогу тимчасовим переселенцям, стежать за територією, допомагають військовим штабам та теробороні. Техніка та майно установ ПЗФ передані для оборони країни”, – повідомив Руслан Стрілець.
У цьому нам допомагають національні парки та природоохоронні організації всієї Європи:
- Франкфуртське зоологічне товариство разом з партнерами з Румунії – Фондом збереження Карпат – надають підтримку паркам, які зараз приймають біженців;
- 3 березня з Румунії надійшла перша партія допомоги – загалом 3,5 тонн наметів, матраців, продуктів харчування та інших товарів;
- друга партія вже в дорозі до нацпарку «Синевир». Частину допомоги також направлять заповіднику «Горгани», Карпатському біосферному заповіднику та Карпатському нацпарку.
- для розміщення переселенців нацпарки «Верховинський» та «Синевир» також отримали 70 комплектів матраців, подушок, ковдр та постільної білизни.

International support for nature parks to help face the influx of refugees
Employees of the Nature Reserve Fund and European environmental organizations have united to protect the citizens and nature of Ukraine!
Due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes. Natural parks and reserves provide assistance to temporary migrants, monitor the territory, assist military headquarters and defense. Equipment and property of NPF institutions are transferred to defend the country.
Nature reserves, national parks, and environmental organizations all around the world join this initiative to protect Ukrainian nature and its citizens! The Frankfurt Zoological Society, and their partner project in Romania – the Foundation Conservation Carpathia – are providing support to parks that now host refugees. The organizations received humanitarian aid from protected areas. On March 3rd, the first batch of supplies arrived from Romania – in total 3.5 tons of tents, mattresses, food, and other goods. These supplies were transferred to the Vyzhnytskyi, Cheremoskyi, Verkhovynskyi, and Hutsulshchyna national parks.
The second batch is on its way to Synevyr National Nature Park and it will be shared with Gorgany Nature Reserve, the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, and the Carpathian National Nature Park.
Verkhovynskyi and Synevyr National Nature Parks also received 70 sets of mattresses, pillows, blankets, and bedding to accommodate displaced people.
